8/7/2008 - Flint, MI -- Funeral arrangements has been made for Andy Gauthier. Visitation for Andy will be held today from 5 - 9 PM. Services will be held on Friday August 8th at 2 PM.

8/4/2008 - Flint, MI --- We are very sad to report that one of our players from last years team has passed away over the weekend. Andrew Gauthier played defense for the Flint Jr. Generals and resided in Haslett, Michigan. Funeral arrangements have not been completed as yet, but they will be handled by Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Home, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing, Michigan 48823. Our prayers go out to the family.
7/15/2008 - Flint, MI --- The final tryout camp for the Flint Jr. Generals Hockey team will be held on August 4th, 6th, & 8th, at the Flint Iceland Arena. Please click on the "Tryout Information" tab and download the PDF form. Complete the form and send it to Kelly Cronk.

5/28/2008 - Flint, MI --- The management of the Flint Jr. Generals would like to announce the hiring of the new head coach. Richard Klapko has assumed this responsibility as of 5/4/2008. Coach Klapko has a masters degree from Western State College in Colorado, and is a limited licensed psychologist in Michigan, specializing in sport psychology and substance abuse. His previous coaching experience has been with Team Michigan AAA prospects, On-Ice skills coach at the University of Colorado, Head Coach with the Arvada High School in Denver, Colorado, Motor City Chiefs Junior B (CSHL team), Bloomfield Hills High School, and he has coached youth hockey from Mites through Midget AA. We welcome Coach Klapko to the Flint Jr. Generals Hockey Team.
